SunYat-sen University is located in at Sizihwan in Kaohsiung city. The eastern part of the campus is next to Mt. Shoushan ; the western part is close to the Taiwan Strait, and the southern one is straight  to the Kaohsiung  harbor. The  grand building and beautiful gardening  art in  the  campus  create an elegant  atmosphere suitable for young students.

After the physical building was established in 1992, the office of the department of physics and the teacher research labs and research laboratories were also set here.  There have been  20 teacher research labs,  15  research  labs,  computer rooms,  libraries,  lecture halls,  seminar rooms, large classrooms, and electronic materials rooms in the physical  building for teaching  and research purposes.
